Lake Norman Dental Assisting School trains chairside dental assistants to assume the many positions available in and around our area, including but not limited to: Mooresville, North Carolina; Charlotte, North Carolina; Lake Norman, Hickory, North Carolina; Concord, North Carlonia; Iredell County, Mecklenburg County, Catawba County and Cabarrus County. Lake Norman Dental Assisting School offers Dental Chairside Assisting programs, a Dental Administrative Program and a North Carolina Dental X-Ray course.
Our 12-week Dental Chairside Assisting program provides 74 hours of lecture/lab preparation and a 20-hour shadowing with a practicing dentist. This course covers the basic skills necessary to assist the dentist in an entry level position in the various operative procedures performed in a dental practice.
Our two-day Dental X-Ray Course provides 14 hours of production and use of dental X-rays and clinical X-ray instruction.
The programs are actually taught in the office of Dr. Diane Haberl and utilizes a hands-on educational approach where students will learn by doing. The faculty is composed of dentists and dental assistants with many years of experience in the dental profession.
